Members of the Committee on European Integration met with the delegation
of the Georgian Parliament with participation of Chairperson of the Committee
on Foreign Affairs Tedo Dzhaparidze, First Deputy Chairperson of the Committee
Zviad Kvachantiradze, Chairperson of the Committee on European Integration
Victor Dolidze, and Deputy Chairperson of the Committee on Defense and Security
David Darchiashvili. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to
Ukraine Mikheil Ukleba accompanied the delegation. First Deputy Chairperson of
the Committee Ostap Semerak, Secretary of the Committee Olena Sotnyk and
members of the Committee Oksana Yurynets and Mustafa Naiiem participated in the
event on the part of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on European Integration. 
The Parties stressed the importance of Ukrainian-Georgian relations and stressed the importance of further development of cooperation between the parliaments of Ukraine and Georgia both in bilateral and multilateral formats.
Participants of the meeting exchanged ideas regarding the work of the respective committees of Ukrainian and Georgian parliaments; as well as the status of implementation of association agreements signed by Ukraine and Georgia with the EU; and cooperation of Ukraine and Georgia with the EU in visa direction.
